The Race for Japan: Korea’s Drone Soccer Teams Face Off
On February 22, 2025, the Korea Drone Soccer National Team Selection Tournament was held at the Uiseong Drone Soccer Stadium in Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. This high-stakes event determined which team would represent Korea in the upcoming Korea-Japan Drone Soccer Exchange Match, to be held on March 30 in Nagoya, Japan.
Only one team would earn the right to stand on the international stage. Six of Korea’s top youth drone soccer teams came together to battle it out under FAI F9A-B CLASS rules, using HELSEL’s 22cm drone ball, TIKE.

Korea’s Youth Teams Compete at the Highest Level
This tournament featured talented middle and high school players who trained hard for this moment. Each match was played as a best-of-three set, and even a single mistake could mean elimination.

The four teams that reached the semifinals were:
RCIN, Narsha, AlphaSky, Pocheon

Semifinals and Final – A Battle to Remember

RCIN vs AlphaSky → AlphaSky wins!
Narsha vs Pocheon → Narsha wins!
The semifinal between RCIN and AlphaSky was one of the most thrilling of the day. RCIN brought high-level precision and pressure, but AlphaSky—a young and energetic team made up of 14, 16, and 19-year-old players—showed resilience and technical skill to advance to the final. Narsha, with disciplined teamwork, secured their place as well.

Final Match – AlphaSky vs Narsha
The final match was intense from start to finish.
✔ Set 1: AlphaSky took an early lead, but Narsha made a dramatic comeback to take the first set.
✔ Set 2: AlphaSky bounced back with dominant performance.
✔ Set 3: AlphaSky maintained momentum and secured the final victory!
With that, AlphaSky became Korea’s official national drone soccer team for the upcoming match in Japan!
